Change Happens – How will you deal with it?

We can't always choose our environment, and all the changes that occur around us. What we can do is choose our reactions to it. Think of a major change occurring in your life today—that is tearing at your gut. Address these four questions to be a "beacon of positive change"—

1. Where is the opportunity?
How can you take advantage of this change to make things better? What can you learn?

2. Are you willing to let go?
In order to latch onto something new, you must be willing and able to give up the past.

3. Can you envision something better?
Can you see something better in your future than you have now? Imagine one little thing you could do to achieve it.

4. What would you do if you weren't afraid?
Don't run away from the possibility of the future. Leap over your fear.

"In times of radical change, the learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves perfectly equipped for a world that no longer exists" ~ Eric Hoffer
