Scientology imposes on another Hills networking group

It was with interest that I read a recent story in the Hills News by Phyllis McGraw. The story was about another Hills networking group that had experienced a visit by a number of members of an organisation called Avatar, who allegedly have links to the Scientology movement.

The story got me wondering, if they ever arrive unannounced at one of our events, how we would handle them.

I would never want to change our culture of being a welcoming, friendly group and would hope that any visitor to our Chamber would be respectful of that. We find most visitors "behave" in a matter respectful to our members, to our Chamber and to our culture and the exceptional few that don't soon find that they are not a match for our organisation and self select with a graceful and quiet exit.

Here is a link to the full story should you wish to read it for yourself. And, if you know who the other networking group was, I'd love to know so we can have a chat with them.
