Sydney Team Connects with Customers Last week the Small business team in Sydney joined forces and headed out to Crowne PLaza Hotel in the Hills district to attend Connect 2011. Connect 2011 was organised to provide local Small Businesses in the area the opportunity to see and hear about the latest products and services that are available to them with their business needs. Carlo Fogarin, Local Business Sales Manager, played a key role in ensuring Telstra had a great deal of exposure on the day. Carlo worked closely with the Sydney Hills BUSINESS CHAMBER and local Hills Council to set up a Telstra stand and promote our Telstra Business presenters. "Connect 2011 provided us with a great opportunity to enhance awareness, create interest and generate sales for Telstra and other providers in the industry" said Mark Frederikson, Director Small Business Sales. The day consisted of presentation on key topics including the changing face of technology, Business Broadband, the lifeblood of business. "Our Broadband customers no longer just want access to the internet. There is now an increased demand for convergence in digital technologies, products and services that also inproves the efficiency of existing products, systems and services. Digital Business is our way of helping our business customers make the switch to next generation capability that will enable them to grow revenues, reduce business costs and to run their business with more flexibility than ever befire" said Neelum Dave Carden, General Manager - Solutions Sales Group, presented on T-suite, Telstra's range of Microsoft product. Dave revealed a smart range of Microsoft products that customers can now enjoy on a monthly program rather than paying upfront for software and ongoing updates. Overall the day proved to be a great success attracting more that 220 people. It provided customers with great insight into what Telstra Business has to offer and stimulated conversations around things customers didn't realise we could offer.
