It’s nice to share good news and one of our members is
having a very good week. Earlier this week Chamber member Trevor from Trevor Leslie Real Estate in
Baulkham Hills set a new record. He sold a 3 bedroom home in Winston Hills for
the highest price ever paid for that sized home in the suburb - $742,500.
But Trevor says the good sale wasn’t the main cause for his
delight. The selling couple, in their
sixties, were selling up and retiring after a failed business venture and a
difficult 7-year long financial struggle. When they listed the home with
Trevor, they expected to get $620,000 – 650,000 for the home and have nothing left
but the expectation of life on the pension after paying off debt and purchasing
a home in Ulladulla. Things were looking grim, but just sixteen days later
Trevor sold the home for $742,500.
Talk about exceeding client expectations! Sellers Robert and
Heather were astonished, not to mention relieved.
Wanting to let the papers know about this wonderful story
and the record sale, Trevor saw the perfect chance to arrange this at the
recent business breakfast. He approached Leonie from Article Writers Australia and
Francesca from Stilz Fotografika and late that
afternoon, he had a press release ready to go, and some professional
photographs to accompany it.
