Lyall Gorman a panellist at the 2014 Small Business Summit

Lyall Gorman will be one of several interesting panellists at the 8 October Small Business Summit Greater Western Sydney. In the lead up to the event, Lyall attended the Sydney Hills Business Chamber Chairman’s Lunch where he voiced his views about the need to plan ahead to meet the cultural needs of our growing region, including sporting activities. Lyall also believes that as business owners we have an obligation to tune in and play a role in shaping the future of our region.

About Lyall Gorman

Foundation Executive Chairman of the Wanderers, Lyall Gorman is perhaps best known across Western Sydney for his involvement in founding the Western Sydney Wanderers in 2012. The new A-League soccer team became Premiers in their first season, at one stage winning 10 matches in a row. Topics at the Summit

One of the topics likely to come up at the Summit is the vital link between business, government and community when it comes to encouraging and supporting residents of Western Sydney in cultural and sporting pursuits, and planning ahead to accommodate those needs.

In addition to the panellists, Naomi Simson (Red Balloon) and Craig Rispin (Future Trends Group) will be keynote speakers at the event which is expected to draw hundreds of small business owners along with VIPs from business and government, to discuss the future of Western Sydney from a business perspective.
