Small Business Summit to Focus on Western Sydney

Hopefully you are aware by now that the Small Business Summit Greater Western Sydney is coming up very soon – 8th October in fact, which really is not far away. It pays to get in quick, as ‘Early Bird’ tickets are available only until August 31st.

This year the Summit will be focussing on growing your business during Session 1, while Session 2 will cover the infrastructure changes and emerging trends in Western Sydney. Opening and closing the event, visionaries and keynote speakers Craig Rispin and Naomi Simson will be bringing us their wisdom and insights into how to take advantage of change to grow your business. A short bio of each of these speakers is below.

In-between the keynote speakers, a fascinating line up of panellists will discuss a range of related topics of interest to local businesses.

You can order your tickets for the event here. Don’t forget to do it before August 31st for the discount!

The transformation of Western Sydney

Major infrastructure projects have commenced in Western Sydney at last! Planned major road upgrades are expected to reduce travel times and improve motoring around the region generally. The rail-airport link is to start very soon, and the Government is committed to building the second airport at Badgerys Creek.

These projects are expected to create thousands of jobs in the region and to boost productivity in major ways. Many of the planned projects are expected to be underway or even completed by 2019, which is likely in itself to present many new opportunities for business owners in the area.

Together with our keynote speakers, two panels of high-profile business leaders will be presenting information and ideas at the Summit in October – many of which will relate to the planned developments in Western Sydney.

Our Summit keynote speakers:

As a mentor, author, innovation expert and business futurist, Craig’s expertise lies in how businesses can profit from emerging technology and trends. He has worked with some of the world’s most innovative companies, with his clients including BHP Billiton, IBM, Symantec, Toyota, Westpac, Telstra and the NAB.

Craig is also the author of “How to Think Like a Futurist” and has received numerous awards, including “Speaker of the Year” by the National Speakers Association of Australia and “Mentor of the Year” by Thought Leaders Global.

Craig’s talent lies particularly in looking ahead to the future, making him an ideal speaker to have at our Summit – especially at this time with all the major changes that are happening in Western Sydney.
